Abstract
254,298. Deveze, L. A. J. P., and Roullet de la Bouillerie, H. M. L. June 23, 1925, [Convention date]. Laminated springs. - Full cantilever springs are connected to the frame at or near their mid points by sliding connections so as to allow re lative longitudinal play. In the construction shown in Figs. 6 and 7, the spring seat a is connected by a sildable dovetail connection to a member e piloted to a bracket f<3> fixed to the vehicle frame y. In modifications, the member e is fixed directly to the frame, two springs in one such construction being connected one above the other to the same frame bracket. The member g, Fig. 10, may extend upwards on each side of the frame y, a filling- piece h being inserted in the open side. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), comprises also the construction shown in Fig. 12 (Cancelled), in which two pivots f, l are provided. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
