Abstract

246,146. Mosiici, G. Jan. 14. 1925, [Convention date]. Deflection of permanent way, utilizing. - The deflection of track rails at or between joints is used for motive power. The rail engages a lever c pivoted at b and actuates a lever f pivoted at g and having an eye l for securing to the transmitting rope or rod. The lever c carries an adjusting screw d and is returned by a spring or is fixed to the rail. The Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), states also that the lever c may be applied to a tie-rod instead of to a rail. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
