Abstract

Rests, legs.-A chair comprises a front support 4 for the fabric or like flexible material carried by two side links 11 with their rear ends resting on the floor, and a rear support for the fabric carried by two side links 12 with their front ends on the floor, a link 13 serving as arm rest being pivoted to the side links above the point of intersection and a link 14 pivoted to the two side links below the point of intersection. A leg rest 1 carries headed hinge pins 9 engaging horizontal key-hole slots 8 in a bar 3 under the cross bar 4 to hold the rest in position as in Fig. 1, or the rest 1 may be swung about hooks 5 thereon engaging pivot wires 6 under the chair to rest on the bar 10.
