Abstract

253,067. Baudino, A., June 3, 1925, [Convention date]. Wheels and other tools. -A polishing-disc consists of bunches of threads of textile material 2 between cloth &c. sheets 1, the threads lying radially of the disc. The threads of each bunch are. folded at the middle of their length and secured to a central rim 3 by a ring 4 carrying staples 5, or may be secured to the rim by stitching, or may be passed through holes in the rim. Two or more cloth sheets may be used with the bunches of threads disposed between the pairs of sheets; the sheets are then stitched together as shown at 6, Fig. 1, or by spiral lines of stitching. Any required number of discs may be assembled on a driving-spindle to form a complete tool.
