Abstract
252,628. Perks, H. Nov. 24, 1925. Wind-screens.-The frame of a windscreen &c. of a motor vehicle is encased in tubular rubber a which has an integrally formed channel part c for one or more fixed or sliding sheets of glass, celluloid &c. and a flap e to make a draught excluding joint with the body on the outside. The tubular part may be slit to facilitate its introduction on the frame. When the frame is joined at the corners by anglepieces the rubber casing is mitred and joined by cold vulcanizing or otherwise. The channel groove is preferably of dovetail section to make a water-tight joint with the glass &c. A solid or tubular beading may supplement or replace the flap e.
