Wireless tuning-apparatus, adjustment devices for.-In holders for transformer and reaction coils in wireless apparatus and for other relatively movable inductances, of the kind in which rotation of the coil is effected through a pin-and-slot or pin-and-groove device having its two operative parts mounted respectively on the movable coilsocket and on the controlling member, an externally screw-threaded spindle f traverses an internally screw-threaded member g in the plane of rotation of the movable coil-socket c, the member g being provided with one part of the pin-and-slot or pin-and-grooves device through which it rotates the socket c. Pins h on the member g may engage slots i in the limbs of a U-shaped bracket j secured to the socket c which is rocked relatively to a fixed coil-socket b in a frame a. In a modification, pins on the bracket or on the movable coil-socket engage grooves in the member g. Two coils may be moved relatively to one another or to a fixed coil by concentric spindles provided with controlling knobs and screw-threaded portions.
