Abstract

252,504. Yoward, H. A. April 3, 1925. Wireless tuning-apparatus, adjustment devices for.-An inductance coil holder comprises a body part carrying the coil and terminals therefore and a stem or socket for engaging corresponding parts on a base member, the coil holder being adjustable towards or away from the base, the stem member forming no part of the electric circuit. In one construction, Fig. 3, the body part 1 has plug-and-socket terminals 2, 3 for receiving the coil and is provided with a split stem 4 slidably engaging a socket 5 in the base 6. Alternatively, the stem may be secured to the base and a socket provided on the part 1. The stem may be screw-threaded and engage a tapped hole in the base member or it may be formed as a rack operated by a pinion.
