Abstract

231,044. Fuller's United Electric Works, Ltd., and Welch, A. P. June 2, 1924. Wireless tuning - apparatus, adjustment devices for.-A coilholder comprises a fixed block b and two or more blocks c, d arranged on the same side thereof and adjustable by knobs e. f operating coaxial shafts. The blocks are spaced apart by sleeves s to enable wide coils or variometer coils to be mounted. The parts are pressed together by spring washers and hace friction surfaces to enable heavy coils to be retained in position. The shafts may be of considerable length to minimize hand-capacity effects. Connection is made to the plug and socket contacts bv terminal screws k on opposite sides of the blocks.
