356,845. Pins for cottering. PUNTER, J. W., 44, Valkyrie Road, Westcliff-on-Sea, and MEUNIER, G., 121 bis, Rue de Clignancourt, Paris. June 25, 1930, No. 19382. [Classes 44, 65 (ii), 89 (i), and 89 (ii).] A device for use as a split-pin substitute in preventing displacement of two co-operating mechanical elements comprises two plungers B<1>, B<2> sliding in a recess a in one of the elements and projecting beyond its surface under the action of a spring or other resilient body C. The mouth of the recess is closed by a screwed bush D. The projecting ends of the plungers may be bevelled on one side to facilitate the insertion of the element into its working position.
