Abstract
252,382. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges., (Assignees of Farbwerke vorm. Meister, Lucius, & Briining). May 20, 192.5, [Convention date]. Right to Patent relinquished. Cellulose nitrates, and processes for making solutions of.-Nitrocellulose suitable for making varnishes is rendered non-explosive for the purpose of storage or transport by moistening with a liquid which is non-volatile and is useful in the further utilization of the nitrocellulose. Suitable liquids are the higher alcohols such as butyl or amyl alcohols or glycerine. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) includes the use of propyl alcohol. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
