245,078. Akt.-Ges. f³r Anilin - Fabrikation. Dec. 23, 1924, [Convention date]. Purifying paints. - Solutions of cellulose derivatives such as celluloid, are decolorized by treatment with a substance containing silicic acid and having active adsorbent surfaces. For examples, solutions of coloured celluloid film are forced through a stirrer with fullers earth or bleaching earth. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) includes also examples in which solutions of acetylcellulose are decolorized by boiling with fullers earth or bleaching earth. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
