Abstract

252,174. Labourdette, J. R. May 18, 1925, [Convention date]. Opening tops.-In a road vehicle of the type having a removable roof portion, the roof is formed as a flat top 4, Fig. 1, with depend ing marginal portions 5 adapted to be secured to the vehicle upper portion 1 by suitable fastenings 6, 6<1>. The removable roof may be rigid or of flexible con struction of canvas leather, &c. In a modi fication, the rear portion of the open top of the vehicle may have a permanent rear cover 7, Fig. 2, and the removable roof may be as shown in Fig. 1 or adapted to be secured to the front and sides of the road vehicle and to the cover 7.
