Abstract

Condenscrs.-A wireless receiving set is mounted on a circular base under a hemispherical cover and the tuning capacity is varied by turning the cover in relation to the base (or vice versa). Thus the aluminium base 2, Fig. 2, may have a standard 3 on which is pivoted a sleeve 12 carrying the cover 1 and geared down to two condensers 22, so that the condensers may be adjusted by turning the cover. Fine and subsidiary adjustments are made by means of controls projecting through slots in the wall 30 of the base, Fig. 9, including the control 32, of the vernier condenser.
