204,663. Dean, L. L. R. June 26, 1923. Receiving sets, construction of.-A complete receiving set is contained in the casing of a telephone receiver. As shown, the crystal 6 co-operates with an adjustable point 7, but a two-crystal detector may be used or the crystal may be movable eccentrically with respect to a fixed point. A variable condenser 10 and inductance 8 are arranged as shown. The adjusting handles pass through insulating bushes. A second telephone may be provided and may contain a condenser. The condenser or inductance may be fixed and a variometer may be provided. Specification 208,414 is referred to.
