Abstract

249,162. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. March 16, 1925, [Convention date]. Gaseous mixtures.-A gaseous fuel for heating purposes or for use in internal-combustion engines is obtained by the addition of a metal carbonyl such as iron carbonyl to a combustible gas such as producer gas or water gas. The fuel should contain at least 0.05 per cent of its weight of the metal carbonyl which may be injected in a liquid state into the gas current.
