Insulating coverings for cables and conductors; cables and conductors, processes for making. - In the manufacture of insulated conductors or cables, a layer of raw rubber or mixtures thereof with small quantities of sulphur, or factice, is applied to the conductor or cable in a squirting machine, and the coated conductor or cable is then led directly to a sheathing machine to receive a casing of one or more layers of an indiarubber composition having a larger quantity of sulphur and an outweighing proportion of additional substances.
