Dye preparations.-The preparations of the parent Specification for dyeing acetyl silk and containing insoluble or substantially insoluble colouring matters dispersed by means of sulphonated naphthalene-formaldehyde condensation products are modified in one of two ways- (a) by reducing the proportion of dispersing agent to less than 1 per cent in a paste containing 10 per cent of dyestuff, or (b) using the dispersing agent completely neutralized with ammonia.
