Abstract

The stable dry vat-preparations of the parent Specification, obtained by evaporating mixtures of alkali indigo-white with quinone vat-dyestuffs with or without agglutinants, are modified by substituting for the indigo-white halogen indigo-whites. Examples are given of mixtures containing monobrom-indigo-white, caustic soda, hydrosulphite, molasses, and one of the quinone vat-dyestuffs of Specifications 19599/12, 22528/13, or the dye stuff from quinone and p-chloraniline, or the dyestuff obtained from m : m1-dianilido-dichloroquinone and ammonium sulphide. Instead of monobromindigo, monochlorindigo or dibromindigo may be used.ALSO:The stable dry vat-preparations of the parent Specification, obtained by evaporating mixtures of alkali indigo-white with quinone vat-dyestuffs with or without agglutinants, are modified by substituting for the indigo-white halogen indigo-whites. Examples are given of mixtures containing monobromindigo-white, caustic soda, hydrosulphite, molasses, and one of the quinone vat-dyestuffs of Specifications 19599/12 and 22528/13, [Both in Class 2 (iii), Dyes &c.], or the dyestuff from quinone and p-chloraniline, or the dyestuff obtained from m : m1-diamilido-dichloroquinone and ammonium sulphide. Instead of monobromindigo, monochlorindigo or dibromindigo may be used. The preparations dissolve readily in water and dye wool reddish-black, greenish-black &c. shades.
