Ironing-machines with rollers rotating against concave surfaces.-The ends of the rear edge of the concave bed 7 are pivoted at 15 to the stationary frame 6, whilst at each end of the front edge of the bed is pivoted a lever 18 having an eccentric arm 18<1>. A rod 19, encircled for an adjustable portion of its length by a spring 21, is pivoted to the eccentric arm and slides through a hole in a stationary base-plate 5<x> bolted to the machine frame, so that on swinging down the lever from the dotted to the full-line position the bed is resiliently supported against the padded roller 3. The bed may be fluted. A feeding-table 22 is provided.
