Channels in springs.-The upper faces of the leaves 1 of a laminar spring, except the top leaf, are formed with lubricant grooves 2 extending from near the ends of the leaves, the grooves being in communication by means of holes 3 formed in the leaves near the ends of the grooves and being supplied with lubricant under pressure from a lubricator 4 mounted on one or more of the intermediate leaves towards the ends of said leaves. The grooves 2 may be straight, sinuous or branched.
