Abstract

312,206. Boggis, C. P. Feb. 20, 1928. Laminated springs.-A shackle pin and leaves are lubricated by oil which is introduced into a central hole in the pin and is led through holes and grooves to all the leaves in succession. The central bore c in the pin is connected by a radial hole d to a cut away part b<1> of the pin, a shallow groove being also formed round the pin. A hole e through the top leaf leads to a longitudinal groove f in the upper side of the second leaf, a hole e<1> to a groove in the third leaf and so on in succession.
