245,379. Cadgene, E., and Dupont, G. Aug. 19, 1925. Addition to 244,608. Stencilling ; printing in several colours; inking- apparatus. - The apparatus described in the parent Specification for printing designs on fabrics and applying thereto, by a stencilling process, an outline in the form of a bas-relief ornamentation, is modified by connecting the printing-cylinder 14 to its shaft 20 by a wormgear adjustment 25, 26 similar to the box-wheels of a fabric-printing machine; also the floating stencil 15 is driven in synchronism with the printing-roller 14 by being geared directly thereto by chain gearing. The roller 14 is driven by friction from the impression-cylinder 13, and is geared by two sprocket-chains to a shaft 38, which is fitted with two sprockets 37 connected by chains 35 to sprockets on stub-shafts geared direct to gears 28 on each end of the stencil drum. More than one printing-roller 14 may be employed.
