Filtering.-A vacuum cleaner is surrounded by a felt bag f tightly stretched by a ring g and supported at its upper end by a ring resting on a shoulder h ot the dust receptacle; the filter is supported from the upper ring. The cover of the receptacle is removable, and is provided with a flange fitting tightly into the receptacle and having a slot which may he turned into or out of register with the suction nozzle m. A suction hose may be fitted to a connection n on the cover, which is normally plugged. The filter may be withdrawn to empty it, after removing the cover.
