Tabs.-Index tabs, which are adapted to be adjustably and removably mounted upon a record card, comprise a holder member 8, Fig. 2, to receive the indicia, and a slidable member 9, Fig: 3, adapted to lock the holder member to the card. The record card 1, Fig. 4, is provided with a series of apertures 5 alternating with projections 6. The holder 8 is formed with offset tongues 10, which are adapted to project through the apertures 5 in the card 1 from behind, and the locking-member 9 is provided with slits 11, so that it can be slid over the tongues 10 in front of the card 1, in order to lock the holder to the card. The member 9 has an aperture 12 to receive one of the projections 6 on the card. The member 8 is preferably tilted backwards and bent upon itself, so as to form a flap 16, Fig. 11, behind which the label or other indicia is placed, the flap being provided with a window 17, Fig. 7, of celluloid &c. The lower edge of the, flap is held down by the upper edge of the member 9. The card 1 is formed' with a rib 7 to prevent adjacent cards from catching upon the member 9 or tongues 10, and the lower end of the member 8 is bent into the groove formed by the rib.
