Abstract

240,768. Gale, F. G. June 15, 1925. Mattresses.-A mattress frame comprises tubular side and end rails 1, 2 of square cross-section, and corner connecting pieces, each consisting of a base 4, upstanding legs 5, 6 and a support 7, the leg 6 being extended downwards at 8 to close the end of the rail 1 and upwards at 14, and a flange 9 being provided, at right angles to the member 14, to close the end of the rail 2. The rail 2 may be adjustably secured to the support 7 by a bolt 11 passing through a slot 12, and the tension of the mattress 3 may be adjusted by turning the nut 16 on the bolt 13, 15, after having loosened the nut 17.
