Abstract

240,396. Sheils, H. July 9, 1925. Addition to 234,337. Tyre attachments to rims. -A lining 6 of flexible material such as rubber, leather, or stout canvas is fitted between the detachable side flange 4 and the wheel felloe 2 and may be secured to either of those parts. In the form shown, the ring 6 is secured to the flat web of the flange 4 by bifurcated rivets. As described in the parent Specification, the flange 4 is formed with lugs 4a adapted to enter sockets 2a in the felloe.
