Abstract

240,358. Pegg, J. Feb. 20, 1925. Perforated nozzles.-A nozzle for attachment to an atomizer comprises a straight or curved tubular arm 4 having a flared shouldered end 5 for fitting to the atomizer, and formed at its forward end with an inclined restricted neck 7 terminating in a round head 8 having five holes formed therein. The aperture 9 gives an up. wardly-inclined jet which may be directed towards the nazal passage, a pair of diametrically. opposed apertures 10 to direct lateral jets on to the tonsils, an aperture 11 giving a forwardly and downwardly directed jet on the back of the throat and an aperture 12 a downwardly and rearwardly directed jet on to the vocal cords.
