Abstract

238,829. Whitney, D. May 19, 1925. Face and features, improvtng appearance of.-A device for restoring facial muscles to their original position comprises curved lateral members a, Fig. 1, secured by members c, f to a band b on a cap of rubber or like material, additional fastening cords n, h being provided. A modified form of supporting cap is shown in Fig. 5, the members a being suspended from the loops c<1>, g. The members a are carried on a deformable metallic frame whereby the form of the said members may be modified as desired, while all the securing members c<1>, g &c. are adjustable in length. The chin cord h may be replaced by a central member q, q<1> connecting the side members o, o', p, p<1> of the wire frame, Fig. 7, the said member q, q<1> serving to support drooping chin muscles and being formed with loops q<2> giving elasticity and permitting variations in length. The supporting-cap may be arranged to be mounted, on a hat so that the device may be worn while on a journey.
