Ejecting type-bars. - A series of removable ejector blades b, Fig. 1, of varying thickness at their forward ends, to correspond with different moulds, is contained in an exchangeable magazine a, the blades being of uniform thickness at their rear ends, which engage the ejector c, and being separated at their forward ends by pivotally-mounted guides e, Fig. 10, of different thicknesses. The magazine is adjustable laterally to bring any one of the blades into engagement with the ejector c, to which it is connected by a T-shaped projection b<1>. The magazine is guided in the mould-wheel slide f by oblique guides f<4>, so that longitudinal movement of the magazine by means of a hand-lever i and a link k causes lateral displacement. The lever i is pivoted on a block o<1>, which is connected by a rod o to the mouldwheel slide f, so as to move therewith. The blades may have an extension b<2> to give increased width. The ejector c is operated by a rod u, which is connected to a cam lever t through a spring w, whereby the ejector, on its return movement, is drawn back against a stop x.
