236,967. Binet, A. July 14, 1924, [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Oil-hole closures. - A lubricating nipple a is enclosed in a protecting cup b, the base b<1> of which is clamped between the member to which the nipple is secured and a collar a<1> on the. nipple. The cup has a hinged cover c which is rendered self-closing by a spring e. The base b<1> of the cup is dished upwardly so as to act as a resilient washer to prevent accidental unscrewing of the nipple. As shown, the nipple is adapted to have a screw-and-nut connection with a lubricant pump.
