Chemicals and substances; fire-extinguishing by gases.-The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises the use of an extinguishing gas, such as carbon dioxide, in solid or snow form for extinguishing fires, particularly of inflammable liquids. On release of the liquid gas from a pressure bottle, part expands to gaseous form and the consequent removal of heat solidifies the remainder, which is thrown upon the fire.
