Abstract

236,831. Schweinfurter Prazisions- Kugel-Lager-Werke Fichtel & Sachs, Akt.-Ges. Dec. 4, 1924, [Convention date]. Ball and roller bearings.-In a trolly pulley for collecting electricity and mounted on an insulated antifriction bearing within a hollow hub 3, the latter is made in two parts which screw into each other and have side flanges 2 which hold the pulley 1 in position. As shown for a pulley in which a ball bearing is used, the outer race ring 8 is clamped between the hub parts 3 and may be protected by a sleeve 4 and annular discs 5 or by L-shaped sleeves 6, 7 all of insulating material. The inner racering may be fixed or slidable on the pin 11. Electric current is collected bv springs 13 fixed to the trolly head 10 and bearing against the end faces of the hub 3.
