Ball and roller bearings.- A spacing-cage adapted for either ball or roller bearings comprises a pair of side rings s. s<1> connected by pairs of curved bars z, tongues r on the ends of which are passed through slots in the side rings and turned down, each slot receiving the tongues on two bars. The bars z are curved as shown to the contour of the balls or rollers. Recesses h in the rings s, s<1> serve to receive balls, or to afford annular contact with the end faces of the rollers. The tongues on one side may be somewhat loose in the slots to allow small relative movement between the side rings.
