Antifriction-wheel bearings; spring supports. -The horizontal shaft of a centrifugal machine is supported on antifriction wheels and is guided by yielding ball bearings. Rollers b at each end of the shaft a run on antifriction wheels c. Ball guide bearings f are mounted in levers e pivoted at g. The free ends of the levers are pressed down by springs h. There is either one ball bearing at each end of the shaft, or two pivoted at opposite sides of the shaft, as shown.
