April 30, 1943, No. 6860. -[Class,52 (i)] A castor comprises a main roller 1, the periphery of which carries in spaced. radial arms 6 a number of small barrel-shaped rollers 8 at right angles thereto to facilitate castoring action. The small rollers may be mounted by anti-friction bearings on an endless wire polygon 9 or on separate short axles held in the periphery, e.g. held in 'spokes 21, Fig. 8, having forked ends 23 by spring clips 24. The castor may consist of more than one wheel or roller with peripheral rollers, as in Fig. 10, showing a castor mounted as a unit in a flanged casing 29 let into an article 32.
