235,121. Henss, P. April 20, 1925. Spring wheels.-Cheeks h, h' carried on the felloe b and hub a of a spring wheel, are formed with cups to carry balls k. Tensioned laminated plate springs f at each side of the wheel are held by bolts d and embed in U-irons e, pressure being transmitted through flat rings c to the cheeks h<1>. When the felloe, or hub is displaced, the balls, which are normally held by the springs at the deepest point of the cups, spread the cheeks h<1>.
