Shuttle-relief motions.-In connection with a shuttle stop motion wherein the swell C is acted upon by a lever H on a rod G provided with a finger g<1> acted upon by a spring g, a trip pawl or lever K controlled by a spring k<1> operates a finger g<2> on the rod G as the lay moves back thus turning the rod and levers H, g<1> to relieve the pressure on the swell and shuttle.
