Window guards.- A window guard is formed in one or more sections and mounted on cranked trunnions 100, 101, 110, 111, 120, 121, in brackets 13, 14 secured to the woodwork or masonry. The cranked trunnions are secured by bolts 140 passing through the brackets and permit one section of the guard to be opened back on its adjacent section, and when closed to lie near to the window. One section 11 is provided with a bonnet 15 to receive the pivoted portion 16 of the window.
