Abstract

233,388. Turner, F. Jan. 8, 1924. Reservoir pens.-The nib-section consists of section 2 screwing into the reservoir 1, a section 4 screwing into the section 2, a feed-box 5 secured in the section 4 and passing through the section 2, a packing-ring 8, and a packing securing-ring 9. The feed-box 5, in which the feed-bar 10 is carried, is formed with a blank end 6 larger than the bore of the section 2 and forming a valve adapted to co-operate with a seating 3 formed on the section 2. Ink is fed to the) nib through a side-opening 7 in the feed-box, and the supply is gradually increased or decreased by turning the section 4 and feed-box relatively to the section 2.
