Abstract

Axle-trucks and bogies; springs, arrangement of, and mounting bodies on.-A bogie comprises a main frame resiliently supported on two wheels, which frame has two transverse members a and two side plates b provided with axle-box guides; a secondary bogie frame h fitted with a housing for a central pivot pin k; and means m for suspending the secondary frame from the main frame adapted to allow a relative lateral movement of the two frames. The main frame a, b is supported from the axle-boxes by leaf springs e the ends of which carry suspension links f provided with rebound springs g. The secondary frame h is supported from the main frame a, b by four heart-shaped links m each adapted to rock on a double pin n secured to the member a, a spring p being interposed between the end of each link m and a seating r depending from the secondary frame h.
