Capsules and like closures; frictionally-seated lids and covers; cap stoppers, screw.-In a bottle cap comprising a top 6 and a skirt portion 10 with an integral sealing-portion 14 at its lower edge and provided with indentations 11 adapted to engage an annular depression 12 in the bottle neck to hold the cap on the bottle after the sealing-portion has been torn therefrom, the whole cap is formed integrally, from a single sheet of metal drawn to the required shape, and the sealing portion 14, which is divided from the skirt portion 10 by an internal scoring 15, is provided with a perforated removal tongue 17. In a modification, helical threads replace the indentations 11.
