Thermionic generators and modulating systems. -In wireless transmission systems employing valve oscillators and modulators, resistances 14 - - 17 are connected in the grid circuits of the generating valves 4, 5 and the modulating valves 6, 7 with the object of damping parasitic disturbances due to inherent capacities. The resistances are placed close to the grids and have any value between 10,000 and 50,000 ohms. As shown in the Figure, the generating and modulating valves are connected to a common high-tension source 8 through a choke coil 9, modulation being effected according to the known choke-control method.
