Feeding-devices for endless-belt conveyers; suspending endless-belt conveyers from overhead supports; shoots.-In means for loading ships of the kind comprising a shoot d suspended from a crane, &c. and delivering to a trimming conveyer i, the motor driving the conveyer i is actuated only when the shoot is full. The head d<1> of the shoot contains a movable plate y which moves and thereby breaks the motor circuit as soon as the level of the material falls below it. The shoot d can be rotated about a vertical axis by the motor s, and the conveyer i can be moved longitudinally by gearing driven by the motor x.
