Abstract

A vehicle parking and positioning control system is a system to be employed on steerable vehicles (usually capable of forward and reverse motion) to assist the operator or driver in parking, positioning or manoeuvering the vehicle where contact with the other vehicles or objects is to be avoided. The system is to provide the operator or driver with information eg warnings via sensors 4 and instruments of the vehicles proximity to other vehicles or objects. <IMAGE>
