Abstract

Wireless tuning-apparatus, adjustment devices for. -In an adjusting device for inductance coils, a single operating member actuates one of the coils directly through a lost-motion device for effecting coarse adjustment, and actuates the other coil through slowmotion transmitting mechanism for effecting a fine adjustment. In the arrangement shown, coil-holders 4 5 are mounted on spindles 2, 3, the coil-holder 4 being loosely mounted on its spindle. The spindle 2 is rotated by a knob 8, and carries an eccentric disc 9 having a pin 10 engaging a recess 11 cut in a disc 12 secured to the holder 4. A pin 14 secured to the spindle 3 is held against the disc 9 by a spring 13. The holder 4 is first moved to a position slightly beyond that required, and remains in this position while the handle is rotated in the reverse direction to produce a slow motion of the holder 5 through the disc 9 and pin 14.
