Cans; partitions; strainers and filters.- A milk churn or can is divided into two portions by a preferably removable plate 5 through which the upper part of a detachable pump 6 passes, the milk being introduced into the lower compartment through a gauze-covered opening 11 provided with a hinged cover 10. Drainage from the pump can return to the milk compartment through a gauze-covered opening 9. The upper compartment is adapted to hold the milk measures.
