Abstract

Gas cooking - stoves; ovens; oven. shelves.-An oven combined with two or more saucepans comprises a cylindrical or other shaped casing a having a door at the side and cross-bars e, e<1> at the top, the ends of which depend into the casing and are provided with brackets f which support the oven shelves. The bottom of the casing is provided with a grid or disc d, the heating- appliance being placed either inside the oven, or, when the grid is provided, beneath it. Saucepans h of segmental form are supported at the top of the oven on a grid l placed on the uppermost brackets f. When the oven is not required, the grid l is removed and the saucepans are lowered into the casing, being supported' by flanges k which engage the crossbars e, e<1> and the top of the casing. Flue spaces are formed between the saucepans and between them and the casing. Spaces left vacant at the top of the casing by the removal of saucepans are closed by the saucepan lids j. The grid l may be replaced by an electric hot-plate, and a clip may be provided for suspending the heating- device from the centre of the bars e, e<1> for. grilling purposes. The oven shelves may be in two pieces to permit insertion through the door.
