Feeding-bottles.-A calf or like feeder comprises a teat a removably attached to a milk container d, and having flexible diaphragms with slit-like apertures to limit the flow of milk therethrough. The teat a is formed with a flange a' to be gripped between a flared ring b and a socket c that are bayonet jointed together. Diaphragms e<1> of rubber &c., having diametral slits f are secured across the milk passage, the slits being arranged at different relative angles and diaphragms of different thickness used to vary the resistance offered to the flow of milk. The outlet aperture d<2> extends to the bottom d<1> of the container d, and is level with the top of the milk passage in the teat. According to the Provisional Specification, the aperture d<2> is covered by an internal plate having a channel leading from the bottom of the container and secured by two pins that protrude through the wall and through holes in the diaphragms e<1>, the flange a<1>, and the ring b, and wedges passed through the ends of the pins, a number of holes being formed in the diaphragms e<1> and flange a<1> to allow of different angular arrangements. The container may be of rectangular cross-section tapering downwardly, so that it hangs in an inclined position against a vertical support.
