Abstract
219,681. Haefely et Cie Akt.-Ges., E. July 28, 1923, [Convention date]. Coating materials in long lengths.-Mica scales are cemented upon a web a of fibrous material by means of an endless conveyer band b. The mica is delivered to the band in any suitable manner. The web a passes round a pressure roller f, while the band passes beneath it, the mica thus being pressed upon the web. The web may carry the adhesive or this may be sprinkled in solid form on the mica. The roller f may be heated in order to melt the adhesive or drive off solvent therefrom. Surplus mica is collected in a box k. Specifications 20430/00, 15890/02, and 216,724 are referred to.
