Abstract

278,801. British Bead Printers, Ltd., and Heynert, F. A. H. July 13, 1926. Ornamenting.-Solid materials are decorated by the application thereto of condensation products of urea and its derivatives, the products being applied in pattern effect while in the liquid or plastic state, with or without prior incorporation with, or a subsequent coating of, decorative surfacing, material. The condensation products are transformed into the hard final products by heating or otherwise. The solid materials treated include glass, porcelain, rubber, metal, stone, wood, cardboard, celluloid. bone, ivory, &c., and the condensation product may be applied thereto by printing with a block or roller. The surfacing material may consist of glass particles, mica flakes or powder, metal or pearl dust, small metal discs, or fibrous material, such as paper, wood, cotton, or asbestos. The condensation products may be coloured. Specifications 247,001 and 277,091 are referred to.
